Daquiri or Daiquiri as they say in Cuba! The Daiquiri cocktail, made of rum, lime juice and sugar, was named after the village of Daiquiri near Santiago, Cuba, where it first appeared around 1900. A refreshing cocktail, which was said to have been invented in the early 20th century by the Jennings S.Cox, an American working in the Daiquiri mines of a small Cuban city.

The original recipe is consumed as it is or used as a basic blend for the more sophisticated cocktails in the family.

Materials (1 glass)

40 ml white rum

20 ml of fresh juice

10 ml sugar syrup

Ice

Implementation

Place the above ingredients in a mixing glass or in a Cobbler shaker (with filter). Stir well and then serve your mixture in an ice-cold martini glass, after having passed through an ice cube strainer.
