Kalamata “First” in Green
Satisfaction prevails in the Municipality from the distinction and the avant-garde of Kalamata on green issues.
The Mayor, in a statement, stressed that great efforts are being made to strengthen particularly the tall green in the era of the crisis that has led to a reduction in resources and human resources. He reminded that in the last few years thousands of trees have been planted and the trees of Navarinou, Faron, Aristomenous, Crete, Roumelioti, Meletiou, N. Entrance (after the Akovitika), etc. have been established.
Also, hundreds of trees have been planted in the Cemetery, in schools, parks and municipal apartments.
Autumn trees will be planted on Lykourgou Street and in free areas of the Kalamata harbor.
