Chronology:
Cine Center Cinema Kalamata began operating on January 30, 2003. It is located on Kallipateras Street 16 (about 10 ‘walking distance from the city center) where the old cinema “Oasis” was located. Featuring 3 state-of-the-art halls with comfortable seats, large screens with DTS sound (Rooms 1 & 2) and Dolby Digital (Room 3), and a fully equipped canteen-bar as well as a seating area.
In March 2003, he is screening for the first time at A projection at the same time as Athens, while in May the first world premiere of the film is coming, something unprecedented for the city!
In 2009, online communication with the public begins with a group on facebook, one year later and through the blog.
Since 2010 he has been equipping Hall 1 with a new digital movie engine, where he now projects 3D as well as digital films.
In February 2011 he organizes “Cinema Days” bringing to the world’s most demanding audience the “best-loved” and award-winning films of the world cinema at a lower price, something that continues to this day.
With the launch of the 2011-2012 season, it gains a page on Facebook by organizing & contests, and starting March 2012, the YouTube channel from where it shows the movie trailers & not only begins.
From April 2013 you can watch movies and twitter.
In March 2014, he steps one step further by digitizing Hall 2 with a new modern projection engine, further enhancing the cinematic viewing quality.
